What is a Selector?

The selector is a string used to point to a specific DKIM public key record in your DNS. It is specified in the s= tag of a DKIM signature header.

To find your selector, look at a DKIM-signed email's headers for the DKIM-Signature field and note the s= value.

What is DKIM?
  • Authenticity — proves the email was sent by the domain owner
  • Integrity — ensures the message was not altered in transit
  • Reputation — improves deliverability and sender trust
